About family dentistry
A family dentist looks after people at every stage of life. Your child's baby teeth, your teenager's new molars, your own fillings and your parent's partial denture all need different kinds of attention. Having one team see everyone means your dental records live in one place, and the people caring for you get to know your family's history over time.
Many dental problems run in families, partly because of shared genes and partly because of shared habits. If several people in your home snack often, grind their teeth or have gum trouble, we can spot the pattern and give advice that works for the whole household. Small changes at home, like a set brushing time or water instead of juice, tend to stick when everyone does them together.
We also try to make the logistics easier. Ask our front desk about booking family members in a row, so you make one trip to Forest Manor Rd instead of several. Our office is a short walk from Don Mills station and has underground visitor parking, which helps when you are bringing young children or an older relative with limited mobility.

Other options
Some families prefer to have young children seen at a pediatric dental office, or need a specialist for a particular problem. Your dentist can talk with you about when a referral makes sense, and many families keep everyday care with us while seeing a specialist for one treatment.
Cost and coverage
Each family member's fees are based on the treatment they receive, and dentists in Ontario often use the ODA suggested fee guide as a starting point. Family insurance plans usually cover checkups and cleanings at some level, so bring each person's plan details. If anyone in your household may qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), please ask us how it would apply to your visit. Payment plans through LendCare are available for larger treatment.
Our promise: we confirm your coverage and explain the cost before treatment.

Family Dentistry FAQ
Can my whole family be seen on the same day?
Often, yes. Let our front desk know how many people need appointments and we will look for times in a row. Saturdays fill quickly, so booking a few weeks ahead helps.
At what age should my child start seeing your family dentist?
Many dental groups suggest a first visit by about age one or within six months of the first tooth. Call us and we can talk about how we welcome young children and what to expect at that first visit.
Do you see older adults with dentures or medical conditions?
Yes. Our dentists see seniors for checkups, denture care and other treatment. Please bring an up-to-date list of medicines, since some affect your mouth or how treatment is planned.
How often should each person in my family come in?
Many people come every six months, but the right interval depends on each person's gums, cavity risk and health. Your dentist may suggest more or fewer visits for different family members.
Is it easy to get to your office with kids?
Our clinic is on Forest Manor Rd near Don Mills station and Fairview Mall. Unit 1 has its own entrance at street level, and there is underground visitor parking for the retail units.
