About emergency dentist

When you call, tell us what happened, when it started and how much it hurts. Our team will ask a few questions to understand how urgent it is and will do our best to fit you in as soon as possible. We offer same-day emergency visits whenever we can. Our hours are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are closed on Sundays.

Some problems should not wait for a dental office. If your face or neck is swelling quickly, you have trouble breathing or swallowing, you have a high fever with dental swelling, or you were hurt in a fall or accident that may have injured your jaw or head, go to the nearest hospital emergency department or call 911. These signs can mean a spreading infection or an injury that needs hospital care.

At your emergency visit, the first goal is to find the cause and ease your pain. Your dentist will examine the area, usually take an X-ray and explain what is going on in plain words. Sometimes the problem can be fully fixed that day. Other times, your dentist will give you short-term relief and book a follow-up visit for the full repair, such as a crown or root canal treatment.
