The Steeles neighbourhood sits in the far northwest corner of Scarborough, bordered by Steeles Ave E and Markham to the north. It is a busy residential area of townhouses and detached homes, with plazas full of restaurants and shops. Pacific Mall is just across Steeles Ave E, and L'Amoreaux Park lies to the south. Hwy 404 runs along its western side.

Living right at the city line, many Steeles residents work in Markham or downtown and commute along Hwy 404. Our office sits just off the Sheppard Ave E exit, so it is easy to stop in on the way to or from work. We offer cleanings, exams and fillings, and we can help with gum care through Dr. Ardeshir Ranjbari, our registered specialist in periodontics.

Steeles dental FAQ

What is the quickest way from Steeles?

Many people take Hwy 404 south and exit at Sheppard Ave E, then head west to Don Mills Rd. If you prefer local roads, Victoria Park Ave south to Sheppard also works.

My gums bleed when I floss. Should I worry?

Bleeding gums are often an early sign of gum inflammation. It is a good idea to have them checked. Your dentist or hygienist will look at your gums and explain what care may help.

What is scaling and root planing?

It is a deep cleaning below the gum line to remove buildup that a regular cleaning cannot reach. It is often recommended for gum disease. Your dentist will tell you if you need it after an exam.

Do you see patients from Markham too?

Yes. Patients come to us from both sides of Steeles Ave E. Bring your insurance details and we will help you check your coverage.
